About Debbie
Debbie Esling studied at the University of Waterloo and the University of Western Ontario for undergraduate work and earned her Bachelors in Mathematics / Honors Cooperative Program, along with her Bachelor of Education degree simultaneously in 1988. She then taught for 2 years in Canada before moving to TX. In TX, she taught for 2 years at Bishop Dunne High School, after which she earned her Master of Science, in Computer Education and Cognitive Systems at the University of North TX, in 1994. She then taught at Ursuline Academy from 1995 to 1999. In 1999, she semi-retired from teaching in order to raise her twin children. While raising her children, Debbie tutored as a volunteer in her children's schools, and also worked with the children of her friends. In 2011, she obtained her certification from the state of TX in Mathematics, continued to tutor on a voluntary basis and began tutoring full time in 2013 after her children headed off to college. Debbie's favorite part about tutoring is "working with students and empowering them to succeed with confidence."
